Perhaps I may not be a right person to offer an opinion to the issue, but if you ask me about the recovery effort in Tohoku all I can tell you is that the infrastructure based reconstruction is best to described as utter failure. But then, it’s a bit too late to change that eh?
Pray for all the lost souls in Tohoku and those who are struggle to move on, 9 years on…
I’ll be given an Artist Talk in regards to my photography project on post tsunami Tohoku in Vancouver area on August 31st, 2019. It’ll be done in Mandarin Chinese unfortunately given that the organizer is a Buddhist non-profit based in Taiwan.
